A VIEW LIKE NO OTHER

Set in sun-soaked Central Washington on the Columbia River’s calm, inviting stretch of river known as Wanapum Lake, beneath mighty basalt cliffs where tales of ancient times are told with each layer, there is no place on earth quite like Crescent Ridge. Unparalleled views. Awe-inspiring sunsets. Captivating star-lit nights. In just a short drive from Seattle or Spokane, another world awaits.

As passionate advocates for our region’s outdoor recreation and one-of-a-kind lifestyle experiences, we were proudly validated to see our region included in Airbnb’s reveal of 2024’s summer travel trends.

Airbnb cites “play-based stays and experiences” as a defining commonality in this summer’s search trends, emphasizing that “guests are seeking experiential stays that are destinations in their own right.” The closest city with convenient access to Grant County icons like The Gorge Amphitheater, the Columbia River, hiking, and a lush selection of local wineries and farms, it’s no surprise that users are eagerly searching for places to stay near Quincy.

This summer’s high-profile concert lineup at The Gorge Amphitheater is likely a driving factor for the surge in popularity, especially with sought after acts such as Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Noah Kahan, Dave Matthews, and Odesza performing over the next few months. However, the significant spike in search interest may also signal that the word has finally gotten out about Grant County as a top-tier Washington vacation destination, having spent many years as a much-loved hidden gem.

We can wholeheartedly confirm that our sun-drenched pocket of Central WA is more than deserving of the newfound attention. With a striking natural setting and 300+ days of sunshine on average per year, the Quincy and Columbia River valley offer some of the most distinct outdoor experiences adventure lovers could hope for. Whether it be water sports, wine-tasting, or leisurely walks though stunning scenery, a quick visit to our experiences page offers a small sample of the wonders in and around Crescent Bar alone.

We welcome new visitors with open arms, and expect many to seek vacation rentals at Crescent Ridge for a future trip out to Quincy this summer! We call it Central Washington’s ultimate playground for a reason. Watersports enthusiasts and anglers alike proudly boast about the revered water of the Columbia River, while golfers head out in search of low scores against the backdrop of the 500 foot basalt ridge. Hikers and trail riders marvel in the unique terrain as they seek yet another one-of-a-kind vantage point to photograph. When the sun goes down, the clear night sky makes you wonder why you packed away the telescope. Life at Crescent Ridge really is filled with endless opportunity for adventure.
